This is a varietal blend of Arbequina & Mission olives, which together yield this big robust & grassy extra virgin olive oil. We feel this oil should be your go-to when you want a strongly flavored oil to stand up against your sophisticated cooking skills. We also reach for this oil when we want Miller's robust & fresh green olive flavors to pop on our salad or even when dipping a french baguette with gouda & a tall glass of red wine.

Good used as a dipping oil with fresh baked crusty breads or rolls.

We have also enjoyed the added flavor it gives to our toast & eggs in the morning, just a little sprinkle on top of any type of toast really add ‘s a lot of flavor to start the day off nicely. .

unsupported claims?? We'll see.

So the oil tastes really good, which is great. However, THCO makes claims that their olive oil is high polyphenol oil, yet the blend bottle has no harvest date or press date and no information regarding polyphenol quality. I find that odd since Its considered a big selling point. When I asked about this, I got no response, which I also find odd. So Id give it a 4 on taste but a 3 overall. I can't give a five unless they have a press date so I know I'm getting the healthiest freshest oil I can get. I also asked about the blend. Is it all local olives? No answer. So not sure I'll order again when there is better out there with all the info. Change that and I could be a forever Fan!

Hi Dan, I can't find your email in our support inbox. Can you confirm where you sent it? The chemical analysis for our Extra Virgin Olive Oils is available on each product page, for instance on the Texas Millers Blend page, below the description in a khaki-colored box. This approach avoids outdated information on labels. Note that each bottle is marked with a Best By date and lot number, visible in light. Unfortunately, due to three consecutive freezes, we will not be producing from the Dripping Springs orchard in 2023.
