Arbequina Olive Trees – Texas Local Pick-Up Only

The Arbequina Olive Tree is an excellent choice for Texas growers, known for its early ripening, high oil content, and adaptability. This compact tree thrives in full sun, requiring at least six hours of sunlight per day, and grows well in well-drained soil, including rocky soils, heavy clay soil, and alkaline soils.

Its grey-green leaves and white flowers add beauty to any landscape, while its highly aromatic fruit makes it a top pick for olive production. With good water management, it can withstand dry periods and is resilient in colder climates (freezes and extremely cold temperatures in winter months require additional care, see cold weather instructions here).

This evergreen tree is self-fertile and produces high-quality Arbequina olives, ideal for olive oil production or fresh table olives.

I got a very small and poor-looking tree

I purchased two olive trees online and was informed that I could pick them up after Thanksgiving. Initially, the rude woman at the counter couldn’t comprehend my request and informed me that they didn’t have any trees available. However, a man later came out and said that they had set aside a couple of trees for me. To my dismay, the trees were only about 3 feet tall and in poor condition. What a disappointing experience!
